Take an object/toy that your child enjoys playing with and while you are playing with it see who can name the most amount of words associated to that object. For example, a ball, you could use throw, roll, hit, bounce, juggle, catch, again, pass, please and do on. As children get older you could encourage them to write the words down to encourage writing skills.
