Why not try putting some sand into a clean baking tray. Just cover the bottom with a thin layer. You can then use your finger or a stick to write letters or words in the sand. Just shake it gently from side to side to start again. Add some glitter to the sand to make it extra fun, It is a good way to practice writing.
